Moving Away From Major Motion Picture Industry

During the Off The Shelf radio interview, Casey reveals why he turned away from entering the major motion picture industry, deciding instead to bring his stories to the masses as an independent artist. Casey and Denise take a deep dive into Casey’s novel, Buried Lies Surface, a story centered around a wrong witnessed by two middle school students, a crime that only one of the boys is willing to talk about. The Wishing Bottle is another novel that Casey and Denise explore during the radio interview.

Eradicating Racism and Sexism

It’s The Wishing Bottle that has nonfiction leanings, with the book’s main character receiving three different attempts to awaken him to errors in his thinking. Experiences that the character has help him to see why he must change to help eradicate the world of racism and sexism. Off The Shelf listeners will also discover how Casey develops stories as well as key actions that they can take to market and promote their books and other creative works.
