Historical Fiction Writer, Neil Gordon – on Off The Shelf Books Talk Radio

Neil Gordon, graduate of New York City’s Green Meadow Waldorf School, joins radio host, Denise Turney, on Off The Shelf Books Talk Radio (https://www.blogtalkradio.com/denise-turney-/2020/07/18/join-us-for-art-books-history-and-poetry ).  His storytelling style has garnered praise from book reviewers and readers.

Meet Neil Gordon – Historical Fiction Writer

Neil lives and writes with a similar spirit that Jack London had as his credo, that it is better to live fully than to experience a long, mundane life. It’s this same spirit that weaves its way through Neil’s books, many which follow similar timelines as the real life events that the books center around.

During the Off The Shelf radio interview, Neil Gordon shares the role that attending New York City’s Green Meadow Waldorf School had on his art, namely his approach to storytelling. It’s due to his education that Neil foregoes using an outline to frame the foundation, the very core of his books. A Cobbler’s Tale is the first book  that Neil authored.

It’s also the first book discussed during the Off The Shelf Books Talk Radio feature interview. A Cobbler’s Tale is set during World War I and focuses on life as a Jewish immigrant during the pivotal historic battles.
